How to Recover Your iCloud Password

There is no doubt that remembering all of your passwords is no easy task specially when we are asked to create passwords with special characters, numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters ! things can get pretty tricky. However, all of these things are done in order to protect our information and ensure our accounts will not fall into the wrong hands. Since its release in 2011, iCloud was known for its strict security system and many iPhones, iPod’s and iPad’s were being locked due to users not being able to enter their correct information and/or forgetting their passwords. Apple created this “lock-out” system in order to protects the user’s information, basically the device becomes useless because the individual is unable to bypass the lock screen where the iCloud information is asked to be entered. This can be a great advantage for stolen devices because you are sure the thief is unable to access your photos, contacts, mail information among other things, however when you are trying to gain access to your account this can be extremely frustrating.

One of the best things to do to avoid getting locked out of your account is to keep your information updated, backup email address, phone number, and security questions. Also, by creating a habit of writing down your passwords in a safe notebook or app on your phone can be extremely helpful in situations like this. In order to reset a forgotten password, simply follow the following steps:
